Vittorio, thank you for agreeing to the interview.
Firstly, our regular question. Please, can you give some advice for our readers: choose a more suitable Opera for first-time attendance
?

The best opera for a first time attendance is definitely la Boheme and The Elixir of love… two of my favorite operas and characters that I always loved for their romance and the easy way to connect with them and leave the dramaturgical play.

And what about the best Opera for a romantic date?🙂

I would say Romeo and Juliet, but I am very attracted and my heart is connected and committed with Tosca so I will definitely choose this title.

For a family visit?

For a family visit instead that I would choose The barber of Siviglia for it’s a fun play and super cute characters, especially the famous aria of “La calunnia

Winter in Saint Petersburg. How are you feeling here in this season?

I always love the winter and I find St Petersburg very romantic and attractive with the lights and the snow all the round with give me a warm feeling of Christmas and I feel this all around. It’s such a great and artistic city full of little corners to discover similar to Italy, I actually believe she’s quite close to Venice in a bigger way.

Best place in the world to find inspiration for you?

It’s always where I feel myself comfortable and where I am at the moment I never think of a place that can give me pleasure if it’s not the one I’m leaving in the moment. I feel connected with myself where I am, but of course I have many memories regarding many other places in the world that gave me a lot of pleasure Milan, New York, Paris, London!

How has the world opera changed since your debut to today?

The world of opera is continuously changing like us as artist. We do change every day alongside our experiences that later on we bring on stage. I believe that this change is the key to preserve what is history what is present and what will be the future. I think it’s important for an artist to be able to change to connect with what is living and to feel that something is changing and change himself and adapt. That’s the key for an artist to be living along term career to be able to adapt himself and change I really believe Opera will never die because it is part of our maze of our instinct of expression of sounds, and it’s eradicated deeply into our body used as an amplifier of our feelings.

Thank you very much.

and choose Opera for your special occasion!
